Applications

XStorm Pro delivers aggressive water removal capacity, making it ideal for restoration needs. It features a COP of 2.5 L/kWh and 85 PPD (AHAM) capacity while drawing only 5.9 amps. Installation flexibility makes the unit suitable for almost any application. No conventional dehumidifier performs as efficiently and effectively for water damage restoration as XStorm Pro.

With the new design and internal layout, the overall unit volume is 40% smaller than many comparable products. The next-generation scratch-resistant polyethylene shell improves surface durability (claimed 25% more than the previous generation).

Why Dehumidify?

  • Reduce RH to help prevent household items, food, medicine, and books from becoming moldy

  • Protect appliances, computers, cameras, and instruments from moisture damage

  • Reduce long-term humidity in crawl spaces/basements that can cause wood rot and structural damage

  • Help reduce pest infestation risk

  • Reduce conditions where mold, mildew, and fungus thrive

Why a High-COP Dehumidifier?

ARGENDON high-COP dehumidifiers are designed as affordable solutions to humidity problems. The investment in indoor air quality and comfort can be offset by energy savings over time. Customers may save up to $250/year in energy cost (claimed), not including savings from using thermostats instead of air conditioning. Once you maintain a consistent relative humidity of 50% or less, you may no longer need to keep thermostats at low, uncomfortable temperatures to control humidity.

Engineering Highlights

  • Rare earth alloy tube evaporator to help extend coil life, improve corrosion resistance, and maintain heat transfer performance over time

  • Rugged rotomolded industrial housing designed to endure impacts and corrosion in restoration and construction environments

  • Bypass-air humidity sensor design helps reduce short cycling and improves service access

  • Pre-assembly design simplifies installation and may reduce overall project cost

  • Compact, portable, stackable—optimized for moving multiple units to job sites after flood restoration tasks
